I signed up for another Blind Chunky PIF and came up with this ballerina chunky.
This is a chunky I made yesterday, as a “Make Me Happy” PIF (pay it forward; someone makes something for you then in return you make something for someone else who in turn makes something for yet another person and so on and so forth) for eggstudio at AFA.
It’s a combination of two of her favorite themes – Queen Elizabeth I and animals, especially cats and dogs – in a style she likes. I tend to both like the style as find it a bit freaky somehow, animal heads on human bodies heh.
Apart from ATCs, other formats that are being traded over at the ATCsforAll.com forum are inchies (1″x1″), twinchies (2″x2″) and chunkies (4″x4″). The latter is the perfect format for these beautiful stamps:
I stamped them using versamark clear ink on colored cardstock, then embossed with white embossing powder. I used semi-thick 3d tape bits to attach the 4 top squares onto the bottom white layer, and attached those to the colored cardstock base using thinner 3d tape. I can’t remember by heart who made these stamps, but can look it up in case someone likes to know!
The trees on the bottom left are dimensional -though that’s a little difficult to see- also there’s little bright red rhinestones on them as ornaments but they’ve almost colored black on the photo for some reason.
